Florent Louis Angers, of Sanford, passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at the H.D. Goodall Hospital. He was born in Black Lake, P.Q., Canada, a son of the late Achille and Clara (Roy) Angers.He proudly served with the 227th Field Artillery Battalion during WWII. After his discharge, he applied for a three-year apprenticeship program with the International Union of Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers. He was employed as a certified master craftsman in commercial construction having worked in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and Connecticut.He will be sadly missed by his wife, Jeanne (Letourneau) Angers, their son, Albert Angers and his wife, Barbara A., his grandson, Christopher, his granddaughters, Michelle, Danielle and Elizabeth, two great granddaughters, and one great grandson.At his request there will be no public visiting hours.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 22nd at 11AM at St. Therese of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church.
