Florence Hall

LYMAN Florence E. Hall 86 formerly of Sanford died Friday November 4 at her residence on the Huff Rd. from declining health due to Alzheimer's disease. She was born in Lebanon April 2, 1919 a daughter of Arthur & Addie (Hooper) Merrifield . She was educated in Sanford schools and was a graduate of Sanford High in 1939.Mrs. Hall previously lived in Lebanon for 22 years and later in Berwick. She moved to Sanford in 1965, until three years ago when she moved to Lyman. Mrs. Hall was employed for several years at the Lebanon Post Office. A homemaker at heart, Mrs. Hall was very fond of her many cats throughout her life. Her husband Leon died in 1989.Survivors are her daughter, Barbara Berry of Sanford, three granddaughters, Barbara Fairbanks and her husband Jeffrey of Saco, Elizabeth Boston and her husband Paul of No. Berwick and Bobbie Jean Mercer and her husband Christopher of Kennebunk, along with six great grandchildren. Burial will be private in Oakdale Cemetery in Sanford.Arrangements by the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter St., Sanford.
