F. Jean Sevigny

F. Jean Sevigny, 59, died at her home Tuesday, September 14, 2004 after a courageous and heroic battle with ovarian cancer.She was born April 22, 1945 in Fall River, Massachusetts and grew up and attended schools in Limerick and Sanford. Jeanie was an EMT for the town of Limerick for several years.She lived life to the fullest and was never happier than when she was hiking in the mountains, boating at the lake or enjoying the ocean views with family and friends. Jeanie was a remarkable woman. She was loved by many and would always put others before her needs. Peace Jeanie, Peace.Mrs. Sevigny worked 35 years with Sprague Electric and then Vishay in the quality control department. If you needed help or assistance, she usually extended herself before you even asked. A warm and spiritual person, Jeanie will be remembered with fondness and a woman full of life. She attended the Curtis Lake Christian Church.Survivors include her husband of 19 years, Rudolph Sevigny of Shapleigh. Four daughters, Brenda and Roxanne Haley and Lorilie Payeur all from Sanford and Stacie Sevigny of Acton. Four grandchildren, Sheena and Shannon Payeur of Sanford and Brandon Lagerholm and Derrick Plante also of Sanford. Her aunt, Margaret Lowell of Westbrook and aunt and uncle, Norman and Carol Kennie of Standish. A sister-in-law, Gail Stevens of Waterboro and several nieces, nephews and cousins. And, best friend, Isla A. Estabrook of Limerick. Her mother predeceased her, Martilla (Kennie) Stevens, and her brother, Paul R. Stevens as well as her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James William and Edith Lillian Herrick Kennie.Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 18, 2004 at the Heald Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale at 11:00 am with Rev. Roger Braley, officiating. Committal prayers will follow at the Pine Grove Cemetery in No.Waterboro at 1 pm.
