Ethel M. McDonald

Ethel M. McDonald, 95 years old, of Sanford, ME died June 10, 2003 at the Newton Center in Sanford.Mrs. McDonald was born on September 17, 1907 in Biddeford, ME. She was the daughter of Patrick and Catherine Healy Kearny.Mrs. McDonald was educated in the Biddeford School System and for many years was employed by Butler's Department Store. In 1943 she was married to Newman McDonald.In her younger years Mrs. McDonald enjoyed blueberry picking and baking blueberry pies. She was an avid Red Sox fan and bingo player.Predeceasing Ethel is her husband Newman, five brothers, and three sisters.Surviving are two sons; Patrick J, McDonald of Acton, ME, James N. McDonald of Arkansas, four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.Please meet the family at Holy Family R.C. Church in Sanford on Monday June 16, 2003 for a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial.
