Ernest "Ernie" F. Graham, 78, of No. Waterboro, died Tuesday morning, September 30, 2003 at Goodall Hospital. He was born February 18, 1925 in Dracut, Mass the son of John and Harriett (Mann) Graham. Ernest served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Graham lived 34 years in Rockville, Connecticut before making Maine his home 13 years ago. He was employed with Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford, CT for 31 years. Mr. Graham was civic minded and joined several service organizations. He was a member of the Fern Chapter # 139 Order of Eastern Star and the American Legion Post # 134, both of Alfred. Also, the Bauneg Beg Grange, the Waterboro Lions Club, and a Mason with Fraternal Lodge # 55 AF & AM, in Waterboro. Mr. Graham enjoyed tending his flower gardens and would often make centerpieces for different Lions Club events. He was an active member of St. George's Episcopal Church in Sanford and devoted many hours with the Altar Guild.He enjoyed taking day trips, dancing and will be remembered for his warm sense of humor.He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Stella (Flood) Graham of No. Waterboro and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his six brothers and sisters.Calling hours will be held on Friday, Oct. 3rd. from 2 - 4 PM and 7 - 9 PM at the Heald Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale. A Funeral Service will be Saturday, Oct 4th. At 10 AM At St. George's Episcopal Church on Emerson Street, Sanford, with Rev.
