Eric R. Luciano

Eric Ryan Luciano, 25 years old of Portland, and formerly of Springvale, ME died Saturday January 17, 2004. Eric was born on April 7, 1978 in Sanford, ME. He was the son of Robert Luciano, and Robin O'Neil Scott. Eric attended Sanford schools, and was a graduate of the Massabesic adult education program. When Eric was younger he enjoyed playing baseball, football, and basketball, he had a great love of animals, especially snakes, reptiles and insects, but throughout his entire life, reading was his passion. He especially enjoyed the writings of Stephen King. Eric was also a "talker". He enjoyed the company of others, and his strong voice propelled him to great things. Most recently he worked for American Media Partners of Westbrook, and began to excel at his job rapidly.Surviving are his parents Robin and Steve Scott of Springvale, ME, a brother Josh Luciano of Lyman; grandparents, Robert Doiron of Lebanon, Phil and Pam Scott of Rochester, NH, a nephew Brian Luciano, a niece Marrissa Luciano; three uncles, Michael of Virginia Beach, VA, Brian, and Scott O'Neil of Sanford; three aunts, Brenda Allaire of Mexico, ME, Patricia Moccia of Newport, VT and Michele Balben of Rochester, NH. Also, several cousins, and his dear friends from Portland, Mike, Sarah, Morgan, Joey, John, and many more that he will be deeply missed by.A period of visitation will be held on Friday January 23, 2004 from 2 to 4 PM, followed by a 4:00 PM funeral service at the Heald Funeral Home, 580 Main St., Springvale, ME.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Serenity House, 30 Mellen St., Portland, ME 04101.
