Thurlow, 86, of Springvale, Maine, died January 27, 2002 at The Pine Point Nursing Care Center, Scarborough, Maine.She was born in Corinth, ME., on March 10, 1915, she was the daughter of Preston and Elba Meggvier Ward.Mrs. Thurlow was a member of the Church of God Prophecy. She was a Sunday School Teacher in Oxford, ME. Mrs. Thurlow was a Stanley Home Products dealer for 50 years. She was an active participant while living in local nursing homes. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and baking bread.Mrs. Thurlow is survived by a daughter Shelia Brown of Saco, ME., grandchildren Michael E. Paul Jr., of Saco, Chris Paul of Saco and Ann-Marie Paul of Saco; she is also survived by great grandchildren Ashley and Makaila Paul of Saco.She was predeceased by her husband Herman Thurlow.Relatives and friends may call from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM on Tuesday at Heald Funeral 580 Main Street Springvale, Maine, where a funeral will be held at 9:00 AM on Wednesday. Burial will follow at 11:30 AM in The Chapel of The Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Civic Center Drive, Augusta, Maine.
