Norton, 74, of Sanford, Died Thursday October 31, 2002 at The Newton Center in Sanford.She was born in Williamsburg, MA., on October 15, 1928 the daughter of Gustav and Julia (Hanscom) Johnson.Mrs. Norton worked for many years at Tiera Footwear in Dover. She then worked for The University of New Hampshire for 12 years in the payroll department. Mrs. Norton also worked in the office of many area shoe shops throughout the years.She enjoyed bingo, the racetrack and casinos.Mrs. Norton is survive by her sons Terry Crawford of Sanford and Tracy Norton Of Sanford; daughters Julie Norton of Springvale and Shari Norton of Sanford; grandchildren Chris, Adam, Joshua, Marney and Ember; great grandchildren Jacob and Ian; a brother Arthur Johnson of Dover, NH, as well as many nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by her husband Reginald Norton who died in 1996, and her sisters Vivian Ramsey and Eleanor Johnson.Relatives and friends may call on Monday November 4, 2002 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM & 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Heald Funeral Home 580 Main Street, Springvale, Maine where a funeral will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday November 5, 2002.
