Brunswick – Elizabeth Powell, 65, passed away on March 8, 2026, at her home surrounded by loved ones after a long illness. Elizabeth was born on July 4, 1960, in Preixens, Catalunya, Spain, daughter of the late Maria (Aldabo) Sangra.

Services will be held in private with her family.

  1. Elizabeth was my supervisor for 3 years, while at Maine Pretrial Services. I had the best experience working under her. She taught me so much. My heart is broken 💔. She is already so missed.

  3. I worked with Elizabeth at Pretrial. She taught me so much and always made me smile or laugh. The best hugs I got from her on the days they were most needed. My sincerest condolences to her family. The world lost a great lady that made it a better place, but her memory will continue to let it shine.

  7. Elizabeth was a magical friend for me. We went on fantastic trips here in Maine, but she also took me to Spain. I saw things I never could have imagined, Castles in Piniscola, and Pals, and literally all over the wonderful landscape. We went to the roses where the Roman ruins were the same as in present time even because they were built so well 3000+ years ago. We swam in the medditerrainan and laughed like children filled with happiness. I have a picture of us near the ocean on our way to the Roses, I have never seen two more happy friends. I am crushed to now hear of her passing.
