Bar Mills, MaineElizabeth Nye, 44, of Bar Mills Maine, died Wednesday August 7, 2002 in Bridgton, Maine.She was born in Wareham, MA., on November 29, 1957, she was the daughter of Shirley R. Nye and the late Rev. Harrison T. Nye of Shapleigh, Maine. She was a graduate of Massebesic High School class of 1975, and was a graduate of Sanford Brown Business School in Granite City, MO.Liz was the assistant manager of CVS Pharmacy in Westbrook and an Associate at Toys R Us and Ames in South Portland. In the past she was employed as a manager for Green Lake Conference Center Book Store, an associate for Western Publishing House of Wisconsin, assistant manager of Rainbow Crafts, and worked for Sher Distributing in Portland.She did the walk for cancer each year and was a member of The Southern Maine Volkssport Association walking group.Liz as she was known by her family and friends always strived to make sure that everyone else was taken care of. She worked hard, she played hard, she loved hard, there was never a task too small for Liz to tackle. She was a free spirit and she always "ceased the moment.She is survived by sister Janet L. (Nye) Carr and her husband Dan; brother Lindsay H. Nye and his wife Susan; sister Roberts (Nye) Borger and her husband David; a brother Frank T. Nye; brother Marvin R. Nye; a brother Richard G. Nye; a sister Joanne Nye; 21 nieces and nephews and 10 great nieces and nephews.She was predeceased in death by her father Rev. Harrison T. Nye, and her brothers Harrison T. Nye, Jr. and David C. Nye and her niece Lauren Nye.Relatives and friends may call on Sunday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Heald Funeral Home 580 Main Street, Springvale, where a funeral will follow at 4:00 PM.
