Edmond Elster Styles

Edmond E. "Eddy" Styles, 94, longtime resident of Shapleigh, died Tuesday, February 10, 2004 at Varney Crossing Nursing Home in No. Berwick.He was born April 15, 1909 in Brooklyn, NY a son of Frederick and Kathryn (Elster) Styles. Mr. Styles worked as a stockbroker and launderer for many years. Also, Mr. Styles was employed in real estate as an appraiser. He and his wife, Edith made their home in Maine in 1986. Mr. Styles enjoyed fishing, golfing and swimming. He was a member of the Society of Real Estate Appraisers. Survivors include a daughter, Marian L. Johnstone of Alfred; Four grandchildren, Edith, Carol, Kenneth and Edmund Johnstone. Also, two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Edith in 1991 and by his son, Robert Styles.Calling hours will be Wednesday, Feb. 11th. From 7 - 9 p.m. at the Heald Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, Feb. 12th. At 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Jack Daniels, officiating.
