Dot Greenleaf

Dot Greenleaf, 84, of Sanford, died September 13 at the Goodall Hospital in Sanford after a brief illness.She was born in Sanford on December 25, 1920, a daughter of Eugene and Emma (Connors) Larose and attended Sanford schools.She was employed with the former Universal Shoe Co. and the former Sanford Health Care Facility, retiring some years ago.She was a member of the Sanford United Baptist Church. A resident of Hillcrest Gardens for the past 3 years, she enjoyed playing beano there.Her husband, Murray G. Greenleaf, Sr., died in 1977.Survivors include her son Murray Greenleaf and his wife Lois of W. Newfield, a sister, Mary Larose of Lawrence, MA, a granddaughter, Leisha Leonard and her husband Stephen of Shapleigh, a grandson, Buddy Greenleaf and his wife Cheryl of W. Newfield, 4 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandsons.A private memorial service will be held. Arrangements are through the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale.
