Dorothy B. Ridley

Dorothy B. Ridley, 88 years old of Waterboro died Thursday, March 20, 2003 at her home. She is the daughter of Burt and Rose Ridley.Ms. Ridley loved the outdoors. Whether she was gardening, feeding the birds, or just showing up the boys fishing she always enjoyed the natural life around her. When she was younger she often went camping. Ms. Ridley loved to cook, and took pride in baking birthday cakes for her family, and spending time with them sharing good memories.Surviving are three daughters, Elaine and Roger Needham of Dover, Faye Lowrey of Farmington, Pamela Sweeney of Manchester; two sons, Richard and Beryl Sweeney, and Ronald and Carolyn Sweeney all of Springvale. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 1 great, great-grandson, and several nieces and nephews.A period of visitation will be held on Monday March 24th from 11 to 12 PM followed by a funeral service at 12 PM.For those that desire memorial contributions may be made to the Waterboro Fire & Rescue, P.O.
