Dorothy A. Caron Austin Clark

Dorothy Clark died at the Greenwood Center in Sanford on April 25, 2004. She was born December 2, 1917, the daughter of William and Rose (Bearor)Caron; Mrs. Clark was predeceased by nine siblings. She entered nursing training in New York City at the former Misericordia Hospital and became a registered nurse in 1939. She returned to Maine and worked at Henrietta D. Goodall Hospital, Hillcrest Nursing Home, and did private duty nursing care until she was into her seventies. Mrs. Clark is survived by her three children, Marilyn Tarbox, Edward Austin, and Ralph Austin, their spouses, children, and grandchildren. She was the widow of Winston R. Clark.There will be no calling hours. Graveside services will be private.
