Dianne A. Chapais

Dianne A. Chapais, 48, of Shapleigh passed away on Saturday May 6, 2006 at the Maine Medical Center in Portland. She was born in Rochester, NH, on June 10, 1957 a daughter of Raymond and Laura (Libby) Caron. She graduated from Somersworth High School in 1976.Dianne was a loving and caring person. Her home was always open for the many family gatherings. Her grandson, Codie was one of her greatest joys. Her loving and caring skills were carried out in her work with the mentally challenged at Camp Waban and the infants at the Day Care. An accomplished seamstress she had worked at Connie's Bridal in Sanford. She found peace working outside in her flower gardens and camping.On June 29, 1991 she married William "Bill" Chapais in Sanford.She is predeceased by her father, Raymond Caron, one infant son, Robbie Fall.She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Bill Chapais of Shapleigh, mother and stepfather, Laura and Bob Plaisted of Port Orange, FL, children, Sonya McInnis of St. Augustine, FL, J.R. Fall of Alfred, stepdaughter, Sarah Chapais of Colorado, grandson, Codie Fall, sisters, Norma Coughlin of Plymouth, MA, Lisa Gill of Lyman, brothers, Ronnie Caron of Lebanon, Michael Caron of New Hampshire, Robbie Caron of Acton, Claude Caron of Port Charlotte, FL, Duane Caron of Kennebunk and Danny Dubois of Springvale, special niece, Amber-Lee as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.Visiting hours will be on Friday May 12 from 9am to 11am at the Carll- Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street in Springvale where a funeral service will take place at 11am. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery in Springvale.In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to Camp Waban 5 Dunaway Drive Sanford, Maine 04073.
