Diana M. Allaire

Diana M. Allaire, 100, of, Sanford, passed away on Sunday August 21, 2005 at the Seal Rock Health Care Facility in Saco where she had been in residence for the past three weeks. Prior to that, she had been in residing at the Sanford Health Care Facility for the past seven years. She was born in St. Norbert, P.Q., Canada on January 17, 1905, a daughter of Edmond and Olivine (Gagne) Camire.For many years she resided in the Lowell, MA. area where she worked as a seamstress in Dress Factories. After the death of her husband, J. Patrick Allaire in 1982 she moved to Sanford to be closer to her family and friends. She was a communicant of Holy Family Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing cards and spending time with family and friends.She is survived by one sister, Henriette Dumont of Sanford, two brothers, Ronald Camire of Sanford, Raymond Camire of Springvale, as well as many nieces and nepehws.A mass of christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10am at Holy Family Catholic Church in Sanford. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street in Sanford from 9am until the time of the funeral mass. Burial will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery.
