On Saturday December 10, 2022, Delvina “Snooki/Del” Snyder Castagna, 55, passed away at her home in Sanford, after a long lifetime battle with multiple medical problems.
Delvina was loved by many. She lived for the people she loved, especially her grandchildren. It always seemed like she knew everybody no matter where she went, she was “auntie” or a friend to them all. She was a pillar of strength, understanding, love, and unconditional support for many, even if it came in crazy unconventional ways. She is deeply loved and will forever be missed.
Delvina leaves behind her loving husband Michael Castagna of Sanford, her mother Delina Allaire of Lebanon, her uncle Brenton Allaire of Springvale, her siblings Lisa Snyder Blevins of Biddeford, Jamison Snyder, Anthony Lemay, Timothy Lemay, Barbara Sherman, her children Anthony Caldwell of Buxton, Jessey Bailey of Biddeford, Justice Bailey of Biddeford, 5 grandchildren Lamar, Azrielle, Lennox, Scarlet, Zarius, aunt, Patti Bruce, and all of her adopted grandchildren.
Arrangements are under the direction of Black Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Sanford-Springvale.

A wonderful mother and friend an grandmother she loved all her grandbabies an kids always talked about them and how much she missed them
That one time at the place she is living in Sanford she played a prank on sal and fixed the faucet where when he turned it on it got him in the face and he asked her for a towel she put flower on it an got it all stuck to his face cuz where he was soaked she was always was a funny person and loved joking around
She is a amazing mother and grandmother an a wonderful soul no matter what anyone says I mean I wished she was my real mother cuz this women has done a lot more for me then my own mother SNOOKIE has always been there for me no matter what and always helped me out with finding odd jobs when I was down an need the money If I could trade spots with her I would in a heart beat
How loving and caring she was. And she was always there when you needed someone to talk to or rant and rave to an always and I mean always gave good advice
By giving amazing advice a place to live and just her being the wonderful person that she is we all make mistakes but we all learn from our mistakes that’s what makes us a better person at the end . That’s what she always told me
How loving caring she was and how she always helped me the best she could
I wish you where my real mother I love you SNOOKIE rest easy now my friend until we meet again make sure u save a spot for me ma and don’t worry I am hear for sal as much as I can and I will do anything to helped him
I am gonna miss you so much ma it’s not gonna be the same when I go to your house an your not there to give me advice an laugh an joke and give each other a hard time

I became friends with Justice around age 4. Snooki was also very close with my sister, Christie as they had some personal ties. She was my family too. my other mom.
