In Loving Memory ofDelores "Dee" CloseWho Died July 8, 2005Dee was born in Sanford on May 8, 1958, the daughter of Rachel Payeur and Louis Fournier and attended Sanford High School.Dee moved to Springfield, MA in 1981 then to Sarasota, FL in 1983. where she continued her nursing studies and became a Registered Nurse.Her talents were not limited to one field of nursing. She worked in Intensive Care Units at Sarasota Hospital and also did private duty care. After moving to Ft. Myers in 1990, she did case studies for pharmaceutical companies, worked as a maternity nurse and as a hospice nurse.Dee was a true caregiver as she loved helping people and her pets. Her two babies were her Beagles Rascal and Gus. Dee was always there for her family, lending a hand whenever needed.Dee leaves behind 4 brothers and 4 sisters.Dee was buried in Sanford along with Rascal and Gus.Dee, you are missed very much. I not only lost a sister, I lost my best friend.--Elaine Fournier
