Debra L. Williams

Debra Louise Williams, 45, of Sanford, ME died Tuesday October 21, 2003 at the H.D. Goodall Hospital in Sanford.She was born on August 7, 1958. She was the beloved daughter of Sandra and Robert Gendron of Sanford, ME, and Michael Groothand of Augusta, GA. She is the sister of Kimberly Groothand of Portland, ME and granddaughter of Eva Spencer of Sanford, ME. Debra will also be greatly missed by her longtime friend and companion Richard McFarland of Sanford.Ms. Williams spent her childhood in Georgia and Plattsburg, NY. She graduated from Beekmantown, NY High School where she was a class officer and active in theater and band. She enjoyed creative writing, reading, cooking and gardening. She was an animal lover, adopting and loving many homeless cats and dogs.At he request of the family services will be private.Memorial donations may be made in Debra's memory to the Animal Welfare Society, P.O.
