Resided in: Newburyport, Massachusetts

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Deborah (Leete) Sullivan, 71, on June 29, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Buffalo, New York on September 10, 1952, as the 4th daughter of Harrison C. and Elizabeth H. (Houck) Leete. Early in life she was affectionally given the name of “Weeze”. Deb primarily grew up in Bloomfield, Connecticut where she graduated from Bloomfield High School. Deb then attended Westbrook College in Maine where she received her associate’s degree in retail. During that time, she married Paul Giordano, who unfortunately passed early in the marriage. She eventually married Peter Sullivan and resided in Windham, Maine where she was blessed with her son Kristopher Sullivan. Deb was a loving and devoted mother to Kristopher and was often referred to as a second mother to many of Kristopher’s childhood friends. She was able to see Kristopher marry Erin Cannon and days prior to her passing she held her newborn grandson Colton Sullivan for the first time. Deb was extremely excited and proud to become a grandmother. She will be dearly missed by her siblings Carol, Mary, Nancy, Bill, and by many nieces and nephews. Arrangements are under the direction of Conroy-Tully Walker South Portland, 1024 Broadway, South Portland. Services for Deb will be held in private with her immediate family.
