David R. Wright

David R. Wright, 59 years old, of Sanford, ME, died Thursday, February 3, 2005 at the H.D. Goodall Hospital in Sanford, ME.Mr. Wright was born on June 13, 1945 in North Hampton, MA. He served his country in the United States Army Reserves for over 20 years and worked at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard as a rigger.Mr. Wright enjoyed the outdoors, especially when he was hunting, fishing, or trapping. He enjoyed traveling to Florida, reading his National Geographic's, and visiting his friends at the American Legion, the Lafayette Club, and Wolves Club; where he was a member of each organization.Surviving is his wife Dorothy "Dottie" Hestermann of Sanford; two sons, Kevin Wright of Arcadia, Fl, and Keith Wright of Hillsboro, NH; three stepchildren, Olaf Nordmann and Donald Nordmann of Sanford, and Munday Nordmann of Springvale. Also surviving are three grandchildren and four step grandchildren.A graveside service for Mr. Wright will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Springvale in the spring of 2005.
