David Raymond Savoie, 49, of Waterboro, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2012 with his family by his side, after a lengthy battle with heart disease. He was born in Sanford on February 19, 1963, a son of the late Raymond and Janet (Foster) Savoie.David enjoyed his family, cars, four wheelers, hunting, fishing, wood working and especially loved spending time with his grandson Hunter. He enjoyed riding his four-wheeler with Hunter and doing anything that made him smile. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved doing anything outdoors.David had a special connection with his wife, Lisa. They had a love so deep that they were almost inseparable. He always said that he was a lucky man to find someone as special as her on the first try, something that doesn't happen that often anymore. David also had a strong connection with his children, two brothers and a sister.David is predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Janet Savoie of Waterboro.He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Lisa (Graffam) Savoie of Waterboro, two brothers, James of Limerick and John of Sanford, his sister, Nancy Clough of Waterboro, his daughter Amanda and her husband Richard of Waterboro, son, David John and his wife, Amanda of Alfred. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and his grandson, Hunter.A graveside service for David will be held on Friday at 3PM at the Pine Grove South Cemetery in Waterboro.Following the services everyone is invited to the home of Nancy Clough, 347 Federal Street in Waterboro.Arrangements are under the direction of the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale.Condolences may be expressed at www.blackfuneralhomes.com
