David L. Prescott, 76, of Lebanon passed away on Friday, June 10, 2022 at his residence.
He was born on November 26, 1945, to Leonard and Louise (Roullo) Prescott in Rochester, NH. David grew up in Farmington, NH and attended local schools.
After high school David enlisted in the U.S. Army and served during the Vietnam Conflict.
He was employed for a time at Rochester Toyota.David was an excellent auto mechanic and he enjoyed racing cars.
Spending time with family was important to him. For years, he would drive his van "Toybus" with his motorcycle in tow to California to spend time with his brother Danny in the winter. In summer he kept his pool clean and open so the family could enjoy it.
David loved his dog, Molly.
David liked to stay physically fit, always walking, some biking, and exercising. He also enjoyed four-wheeling on weekends with his sons and grandsons.
He is predeceased by his parents, his sister Lee Hodgeman, sister Donna Prescott and brother Dennis Prescott.
Survivors include the love of his life Joyce McGlone his brother Danny Prescott and his wife Lydia of California, his son Dennis Prescott and his wife Kari of Lebanon, his son Jeffrey Prescott of Lebanon, grandchildren Chevy, Kamden and Makenzie Prescott.
A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022, from 10:00 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. at Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main St., Springvale, with a graveside service immediately following at 12:00 P.M. at Southern Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 83 Stanley Rd., Springvale.
Arrangements are under the direction of Black Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Sanford-Springvale.

I will miss you Uncle David! You were always so good to me. I remember being at your house a lot when I was little and you always saying you were going to buy me a pony. You never ever had a mean streak in you. You will really be missed! I was hoping to see you this summer but unfortunately that wont happen. I know your with Dennis and Donna ( my Mom) your Mom and Dad and aunty Lee so I know your happy. I just wish we had more time. I love you and Ill keep all my memories of you close to my heart.
