I have no words, except, I would never have been ready Dad.
💔
I met Dave and his brothers in the 80’s. We were very close for several years. We skied and hiked and sailed on my boat together. One of my craziest memories with Dave (and there were many) was being on ice skates at the family house on Highland Lake. A car with a ski rope was brought onto the ice. You can likely picture the crazy dangerous activity that followed. Dave introduced me to the Baldface Circle Trail off 113. We sometimes raced downhill on 30 year old knees. That hike has meant a great deal to me over the past 40 years. Although we lost touch for many years, seeing his obituary reminded me of his bright playful self and I was sad to see him lost so early.
Rest in Peace David, you’ll always be loved and missed. Thoughts and prayers to the family ❤️ 🙏
David was my cousin His mother and my father were siblings
My thoughts and prayers are with David’s family. Pam Meredith
Brothers. A mighty oak has fallen. Dave Leasure has died. He was one of the best and brightest members of our class. At CHS, Dave was in the Honors Division and a great athlete. He played freshman, JV and varsity basketball. Dave also ran for that historic 1971 Stags cross country team which won the Maine Class A State Championship and the Eastern Seaboard Jesuit School Championship in New York City. He was the kid from Holy Cross Junior High…affable, smart and always willing to lend a helping hand. Farewell old friend. May the good Lord rest your soul in Heaven.
