Portland-David H. Gagne, aged 71, and a resident of Washington Ave, peacefully departed on Sunday, March 31, 2024, following an extended illness. Born in Biddeford, Maine, on June 7, 1952, David was the son of the late George Perkins and Gertrude Gagne Perkins. He received his education in local schools before bravely enlisting and serving in the United States Air Force.
For many years, David dedicated himself to his work as a delivery driver for a Distribution Company, demonstrating diligence and commitment in all his endeavors. He is survived by three brothers, whose lives he touched profoundly.
In accordance with his wishes, David will be laid to rest at the Maine Veterans Cemetery in Springvale, Maine, in a private ceremony that honors his service and legacy.

I remember when we were a lot younger,
we would play flag football out in the yard. It was a blast.
RIP David, you are definitely in a better place after all the suffering you endured the last 9 months.
I loved David like a brother. He came back from Nam an attitude that figured I have missed death so now I am going to live. He took me on quite a ride. Watkins Glen WA a blast. Thanks so much Dave.RIP
