David A Carter

David Alan Carter, 79, of Sanford, passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2023, at Springbrook Center in Westbrook, Maine. He was born on February 18, 1944, to Charles Wendell and Niini (Wirta) Carter in Concord, Massachusetts. David attended school in Concord and graduated from Concord High School in 1962. David and his parents relocated to Maine, first in the Rockland/Thomaston area, and then settling in Sanford in 1977, where they were all longtime residents of Townhouse Properties. He worked at Pratt & Whitney as a custodian for many years. David loved cars and enjoyed every opportunity he had to get a new car and try different cars.. David was predeceased by his parents. Surviving is his sister Sandra Strubel, formerly of Center Tuftonboro, NH. David will be interred with his parents at Evergreen Cemetery in Leominster, Massachusetts. Services will be private.
