David F. Carrington

David Francis Carrington, formerly of Waterbury, CT and Lyman, ME swam his final lap on February 5, 2003 at the age of 64.Dave was a teacher in the Newtown, CT school system and coach of the Holy Cross H.S. swim team.Dave is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sue Speedie Carrington, of Lyman, ME, a daughter Elizabeth of San Francisco, CA, a son Jeff of Orange, CT and a daughter Catherine of Philadelphia, PA. Also surviving are two brothers, Paul Carrington of Waterbury, CT and Lewis Carrington formerly of Waterbury, CT and currently residing in Orleans, MA.Predeceasing David is a sister Elizabeth (Betty Ann) Carroll and a bother William Carrington.A period of visitation for David will be held on Sunday February 9, 2003 from 2 to 4 PM at the Heald Funeral Home, 580 Main St., Springvale, ME.A 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday February 10th at St. Phillip's R.C.
