Dakota Knight Tripp, 25, of Middleton, New Hampshire, passed away unexpectedly as the result of a motorcycle accident on June 20, 2026.
Born on February 18, 2001, Dakota lived life with determination, loyalty, and a deep love for his family and friends. Though his time on earth was far too short, the impact he made on those who knew and loved him will be felt for years to come.
Dakota is survived by his beloved wife, Allyson Barter, and their cherished son, Jameson Tripp, who was the center of his world. He is also mourned by his mother, Brandy Page; his father, Robert Page; his sister, Cheyann Tripp and her husband, Jesse LaMarche; his grandparents, Linda and Charles Tripp; his father- and mother-in-law, Brent and Elizabeth Barter; and his best friend, Travis Smith. Dakota was predeceased by his uncle, Daryl Tripp.
Family meant everything to Dakota. He treasured every moment spent with those he loved, whether gathered around a campfire, sharing stories, or simply enjoying each other’s company. He especially loved spending time with his son, creating memories filled with laughter, adventure, and unconditional love.
An outdoorsman at heart, Dakota enjoyed hunting and target shooting and embraced every opportunity to be outside. He proudly served his country in the Army National Guard, demonstrating the same dedication and sense of responsibility that would later define his professional life.
Following his military service, Dakota began a career with SIG SAUER, where he found work that genuinely interested and inspired him. He took great pride in his job and was known for his strong work ethic, determination, and commitment to providing a good life for his family. The accomplishments he achieved through hard work were a source of great pride, and rightfully so.
While Dakota accepted the responsibilities of adulthood at a young age, he never lost his playful spirit. He remained a kid at heart, always ready for an adventure, a laugh, or a chance to make someone smile. His kindness, loyalty, and genuine character touched countless lives.
Dakota’s family and friends will forever cherish the memories they shared with him and will honor his legacy by carrying forward the values he lived by—love of family, loyalty to friends, hard work, and living life to the fullest.
A Celebration of Life honoring Dakota will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the American Legion in Alton, New Hampshire.
Though his journey ended far too soon, Dakota’s spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
