Cynthia Crowley

Cynthia J. Crowley, 51, of Springvale, passed away on Sunday September 4, 2005 with dignity at her home after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Sanford on December 23, 1953 a daughter of Joseph S. and Ruby M. (Pierce) Young. She attended local schools. Later she earned a bachelors degree in English from the University of Southern Maine. She was an independent, intelligent, and a caring person who was loved by her family and many friends. She was an avid book reader who enjoyed Shakespear. She also liked to sew and especially loved to make wedding cakes.She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Edward J. Crowley, of Springvale, two sons, Joseph J-R Crowley of Lyman and Edward J. Crowley II of Waterboro, her parents, Joseph S. and Ruby M. Young, of Sanford, her mother in law, Margie Crowley, her sister and brother in law, Debbie and Dale Morin, and many many more loving family members.Visiting hours will be on Friday September 9 from 6-8pm at the Carll- Heald & Black Funeral Home 580 Main Street in Springvale where a funeral service will take place on Saturday at 11am.
