Cheryl A. Kingsbury, of Sanford, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2026. She was 70 years old.

Born on June 16, 1955, in Vernon, Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late Patricia (Egan) Knight. Cheryl moved with her family to Sanford, where she later graduated from Sanford High School in 1973.

Cheryl enjoyed music and lived life on her own terms. She was known for her strong personality, honesty, and independent spirit—someone who spoke her mind and stayed true to herself.

She is survived by her sons, John Kingsbury Jr. and his wife Melissa, and Tim Kingsbury and his wife Chandra; her grandchildren, Kaylee, Alexis, and Hailee; and her great-grandchildren, Ryan, Ayden, Aurora, Haven, Asher, and Percy. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Cheryl will be remembered for her strength, her authenticity, and the lasting impression she made on those who knew her.
