  2. Carolyn, Lucretia, and I were friends in high school. I have lots of memories of Carolyn and I working as assistant librarians. Especially when we almost were caught by the assistant principal when we left school and went downtown to get coffee for the librarian. Carolyn ended up with coffee all over her white blazer while we hid from her in one of the bathrooms.
I just moved back to Portland after twenty-three years living in Florida, and have thought about both Carolyn and Lucretia often. To me, we are still young and in high school. I’m so sorry that you have lost her. Ann Harmon

  3. I just found out Carolyn passed away. I am sadden and send my love and prayers to you girls. Carolyn was a good friend. We were high school friends and your mom gave your childhood rabbit fur hats to my girls as well as your old Barbie dolls. We’ll see her again one day. Love. Tina Helson
