Sanford, MaineCaroline Downes, 40, of Sanford, died Wednesday March 5, 2003 at The Maine Medical Center in Portland.She was born in Hartford, CT., on August 8, 1962, the daughter of Urban and Marion (Hatch) Coombs. Caroline grew up and attended schools in Manchester, CT.Caroline is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She loved playing bingo and especially loved babies.Besides her parents of Sanford, she is survived by her husband David of Sanford, children Stephanie, Andrew, Amber and Rachel. her sister Candice and Bruno Sumislaski and their three children of Sanford; her brother Harry and Iva Coombs, and their two daughters and four grandchildren. She is also survived by a granddaughter Pamela Coombs.A service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Westview Dr., Sanford, Maine. On Tuesday at 6:00 PM.
