Carol Frances Naimie May 7, 1940 – October 25, 2024 Carol Frances Naimie, age 84, passed away in her sleep on Friday, October 25, 2024 at Benchmark Senior Living, in Rye, New Hampshire. Carol was born on May 7, 1940, in Beverly, Massachusetts, to Gertrude and Carroll Frost. Carol was raised, along with her brother Lawrence, in Beverly and attended public school there. In 1959, she married Charles Naimie. Carol and Charles moved to Lebanon, Maine, in 1965, along with their four children: Charles, Charlene, Christopher, and Cynthia. Carol was passionate about her family and friends, her church community, dogs and farm animals, gardening, and being creative with her hands. She was a talented artist, expressing herself extensively in a wide variety of ways, including pottery, wood carving, silversmithing, leather works, oil painting and watercolor painting. She practiced her artistry professionally at New England Leather in Rochester, New Hampshire, by designing, prototyping and illustrating leather handbags and accessories for the better part of two decades. Carol’s husband Charles predeceased her in 2013. Carol is survived by her brother as well as her 4 children, 14 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
