Carl V. Johnson

Carl V. Johnson, 60, of Sanford died Friday, August 11, 2006 at Goodall Hospital in Sanford. Carl was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts on August 31, 1945 to Carl and Lillian Pelrine Johnson.Mr. Johnson was a very easy going and kind spirited man. He enjoyed laughing and could make light of any situation. He was a very people oriented person who made new friends everywhere he went. Carl was a very caring person who always made himself available to anybody who needed to talk. His favorite place to visit was the Dunkin Donuts, when he wasn't at home he could usually be found there having a coffee and talking with some of his many friends. When Carl was at home, he enjoyed watching crime TV shows; COPS, Law & Order and C.S.I. were a few of his favorites. He also liked using the computer and would spend a lot of time playing computer games and surfing the Internet. Carl will be remembered as a warm and loving person and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Surviving are a daughter Stacy Johnson of Springvale; a stepdaughter, Tanya Baker of Sanford; a sister Carol Paine and her husband Normand of Brockton, Massachusetts and two grandchildren, Michael and Sara.A graveside funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.
