Cansas C. Horn

Cansas C. Horn, 75, of Sanford, passed away on Thursday October 7, 2010 at the Maine Medical Center in Portland. She was born in Ossipee, NH, on February 8, 1935, a daughter of the late Henry and Anna Moody.She worked as a licensed nurse's aid. She traveled extensively and was a sports fanatic especially when it came to the Boston Red Sox and the Arizona Diamondbacks.She was a member of the American Legion Post #7 in Rochester.She is predeceased by one son, John V. Luke.She is survived by her husband, Billy Horn of Sanford, one daughter, Lana LaRochelle and son in law Pride Kelly of Berwick, stepson, Bruce Horn and his wife, Karyl of Madbury, NH, Mona VanCott and her husband, Steve of Bradenton, FL, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.A funeral service will be held on Monday at 4PM at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home,580 Main Street, Springvale. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 2PM until the time of the funeral service.
