Bryan Paul Duby

Bryan P. Duby, Sr., 71, of Scarborough, formerly of Billerica, Massachusetts, died on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at the Pine Point Center in Scarborough. Bryan was born in Lowell, Massachusetts on June 21, 1951, the son of Arthur and Marguerite (Walsh) Duby. He grew up in Billerica where he attended local schools. During his working life, Bryan worked as a self-employed contractor, owning and operating Duby Construction. When his health began to deteriorate, he relocated to Maine so that he could be closer to his daughter. He will be dearly missed by all his family and friends. Bryan was predeceased by his parents and by a sister, Deborah Duby. Surviving are two children, Bryan P. Duby, Jr. of Chelmsford, Massachusetts and Alissa Chasse and her husband John of Springvale, Maine; eight grandchildren; Bryan P. Duby, III, Dan Duby, McKayla Duby, Paige Duby, Matthew Duby, John Tierney, Amanda Duby and Emily Tierney; one great-granddaughter, Myla Duby; a sister, Patricia Duby Martin and many nieces and nephews. At Bryan’s request, arrangements will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Black Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Sanford-Springvale.
