Bradley P. Bates-Allaire

Brad P. Allaire, 14 Years old of Alfred died Friday morning at Maine Medical Center in Portland.Brad was born on July 3, 1988 in Sanford, ME. He is the son of Mark Allaire of Sanford, and Deborah Bates-Torrey of Alfred. He attended local schools and was a great and loving friend to many.A fighter to the very end, Brad inspired those around him with his strength to overcome the insurmountable. He gave a valiant effort in all he did in this life and is an inspiration to many.Brad was a wonderful big brother, son, grandson, cousin, and friend to many. He will always have a special place in many people's hearts, for his leadership helped many others through their difficult times. He had a very special and loving relationship with both his parents and greatly enjoyed camping and being with his dad. He also enjoyed snowmobiling, animals the outdoors and sharing good times and fun with his friends.He will forever be missed by his family, but will never be forgotten. He was a one and only, and the world is a better place for having Brad in it.Surviving are his parents, a sister Elizabeth M. Bates Torrey of Alfred, his grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Alvin Bates, and Ann and Leon Hersom , two aunts, Tanya Santos, Cathy Allaire, two uncles, David Allaire of Portland and Douglas Allaire of Acton, many cousins, and a special friend and cousin Jenny.Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday May 6, 2003 at the Heald Funeral Home, Springvale from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM.
