Betty Jo Miller

Betty Jo Miller, 65 years old, formerly of Sanford, and most recently of Biddeford, died Sunday, March 27, 2005.Mrs. Miller was born on October 15, 1939 in New Raleigh, OK. She was the daughter of Elmer and Esther Polecat Sinks. For many Years Betty worked as a seamstress, but most recently she worked at the Carriage House Inn of Wells as a chambermaid.Betty was a very outgoing, and loving woman. Being hearing impaired never stopped her from living her life completely. She loved to sew, draw, cook, and tend to her flower gardens. She had a great love for animals, and enjoyed the outdoors. Betty was a selfless individual that was an inspiration to many. Her home away from home was the River of Life Christian Fellowship Church; where she often volunteered to help others even in her poor health.Surviving is a husband Patrick C. Miller of Berwick, a son Patrick M. Miller of Biddeford; three sisters, Imogene McDowell of Mustang, OK, Juanita Gilman of Springvale, Rita Sinks of Springvale, a brother Ray Sinks of Sanford, two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.A period of visitation for Mrs. Miller will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2005 from 10 AM to 12 PM at the River of Life Christian Fellowship Church, 721 Gore Rd. Alfred, ME; where funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM.
