Beatrice L. Ouellette

Beatrice L. Ouellette, 97, formerly of Ellsworth Street in Springvale, died August 15 at the Newton Center in Sanford after a lengthy illness.She was born in Braintree, MA on August 8, 1908, a daughter of Ernest and Florence (Coleman) Butler.A resident of the Sanford-Springvale are for many years, she and her husband Harold Ouellette owned and operated the Lincoln Press in Sanford for several years. They were longtime residents of Square Pond in Shapleigh. Mr. Ouellette died in 1994.She was quite creative and had a talent for braiding rugs.Survivors include a sister, Hazel M. Bernier of Kennebunk and several nieces and nephews.Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 2-4 PM at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale.
