Beatrice A. Mitchell

SPRINGVALE Beatrice A. Mitchell 100 formerly of Springvale, died Saturday Feb. 25, 2006 at the Greenwood Center in Sanford. She was born in Chartierville, P. Q., Canada July 5, 1905 the daughter of Thomas & Sarah Landry, and attended school in Canada. Mrs. Mitchell moved from Limerick to Springvale in 1916. She was employed at the former Limerick Textile Mills. She and her late husband, George Plamondon who died in 1930 owned and operated the former Springvale Market on Main St., for 30 years. She later worked at Aletta Dress shop where she retired from.She was a communicant of Notre Dame Church, and was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxilliary.Survivors are her Son, George Plamondon of Springale, Granddaughter Diana Seaver and her husband Jonathan of Sanford, Son-in-law Greg O'Leary of Naples, FL, along with three great grandchildren and a great great grandson.
