Beatrice L. LePage, 76, of Limerick, ME died Sunday June 23, 2002 at the southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford.Mrs. LePage was born on June 19, 1926 in Porter, ME. She was the son of George and Angeline Tripp Libby. She attended Porter schools, and moved to Limerick at the age of 17 after meeting her husband to be Roland LePage at the Yarn Mill in Limerick.For many years Mrs. LePage worked at the Limerick Yarn Mill, as well as Alfred Footwear. She was a communicant of St. Mathews R.C. Church and volunteered for many years at the St. Mathews Sunshine Fair. She enjoyed crafting, crocheting, reading, crossword puzzles, and a good night out which included dinner at the Lobster Pound and a game or two of Bingo.Her husband Roland predeceases her.Surviving are two daughters, Nancy L. and Buddy Woodsome of N. Waterboro, Sandra A and James C. Gerry of S. Waterboro, a son Roland "Sonny" and Judith LePage of Limerick, 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, a sister Connie Sanborn of Standish and a sister-in-law Velma L. Provencher of Limerick. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.A period of visitation for Mrs. LePage will be held from 7 to 8 PM on Wednesday June 26th, followed by an 8:00 PM service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Limerick Fire and Rescue, P.O. Box 195, Limerick, ME 04048.
