I remember Barbara during visits with my husband, Harris, from the time he was transferred to B Wing. She was always very kind. I will miss seeing you during visits to St.Joseph’s. My sincere sympathy to all of you at this sad time.

I came to know Barbara when she was with East End and I was with Child Protective Services. We shared many cases together. She was a wonderful listener, always kind and empathetic but she could be firm when the situation called for tough love. I most appreciated her calming influence, even in the midst of chaos or conflict. I will remember her fondly and send my sympathy to you all in this sad time.

My condolences to you all. I remember your mother with fondness and think of her when I pass by the house on Beacon St. I babysat for most of you, I am sure you don’t remember though. Time will heal the pain. Sorry I can not be at visiting hours but know I am thinking of you.
