Barbara Hagan

Barbara Wilson Gray Hagan, 65 died after a long, courageous battle of heart disease on Monday, March 21, 2016 in Lebanon, ME. She was born on August 2, 1950 in Exeter, NH to Frances Edward and Betty Joanne Wilson. She married Lawrence Gray and together they had two children, Michael and Lorrie. Later on, they divorced and she married Jack Hagan and they lived happily for many years until he passed away in March of 1999. Barbara graduated from Spaulding High School in 1969. Later on in life, she went back to school and studied Behavioral Health at the New England College in Hennicker, NH. She then became a Counselor at the Dover Group Home for over ten years where she was very proud and passionate of her work. Barbara lived in Sanford, ME for the past five years and was a proud member of the Wolves Club where she met many dear friends. Barbara was a very soft spoken, gentle woman who had an infectious smile and loved to bake and cook. All who knew her, knew that she lived for her grandchildren whom she was extremely proud of. Barbara is survived by her son, Michael and his wife Cheryl of Alton, NH and their two children Jacqueline of Rochester, NH and Jonathan of Alton, NH. Also by her daughter, Lorrie and her domestic partner Shane of Berwick, ME and her three children, Britany of S. Portland, ME, Ashley of Lincoln, ME and Joshua of Bangor, ME and many more dear friends near and far. There will be a celebration of Barbara's life at the Springvale Social Club at 22 Bridge Street, Springvale, ME on Saturday, April 16th from 1-4PM.
