Arthur Boston

Arthur J. Boston, 80, of Sanford, passed away on Friday January 27, 2006. He was born in Kennebunk on January 31, 1925 a son of Herman D. and Violet (Brown) Boston. He served his country during WWII in the Marines and was awarded the Purple Heart for being wounded in action.He had a great appreciation for life and enjoyed speaking to people about the bible. He retired from Cyro. He is predeceased by one son, Ron Boston who passed away in 1981. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Albina Laura (Glaude) Boston of Sanford, two sons, Rick Boston of Sanford, Joel Boston of Las Vegas, one daughter, Mrs. Kevin (Elizabeth) Healey of Sanford, 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, one sister, Grace Cochran of Kennebunk.A memorial service will be held on Sunday February 5 at 4pm at the Sanford Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Malcolm Avenue.Arrangements are under the direction of the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home 580 Main Street Springvale.Condolences may be expressed at the tab at left.
