Arrietta Hersom

Arrietta A. Hersom, 84, of Sanford died late Friday evening October 25, 2002.She was born on November 22, 1917 the daughter of Leroy and myrtle Stone Cotton.A homemaker most of her life she enjoyed her family and her flowers and plants. She enjoyed traveling with her sister Laura Willey and going to lunch with her daughter Eleanor.She loved her vegetable garden and canned a lot of the vegetable she grew.Mrs. Hersom is survived by her husband of 66 years George Hersom, a daughter Eleanor Borque of Springvale, two sons, George Jr. and Carol Hersom of Sanford, Roy and Nancy Hersom of Shapleigh, 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 3 great great-grandchildren.A period of visitation will be held on Monday October 28th from 6 to 8 PM at the Heald funeral Home, Springvale; where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday the 29th at 2:00 PM.
