Arline C. Thompson

Arline C. Thompson, 97 years old, of Cape Porpoise, ME died Saturday afternoon August 21, 2004 in Biddeford, ME.Mrs. Thompson was born on July 8, 1907 in Sanford, ME. She was the daughter of Charles and Prudence Ashworth Spinney. She is a graduate of Sanford high School, the Gorham Normal School, and the Gray Business College.Mrs. Thompson enjoyed quiet times reading, and caring for her cats. She was a member of the Kennebunkport Order of Eastern Star, the Sanford First Baptist Church, and attended the Cape Porpoise Methodist Church, where she was a member of the woman's guild.Predeceasing her is her husband Arthur L. Thompson.Surviving is a daughter Prudence, and John Quint of Cape Porpoise, a grandson Peter Quint of North Berwick, a granddaughter Karen Ruel of North Berwick, and five great grandchildren, Keith, Justine, Whitney, and Brittany Quint, and Danielle Ruel.An 11:00 AM graveside service for Mrs. Thompson will be held on Tuesday August 24, 2004 at the Oakdale Cemetery in Sanford, ME.
