Annie White

Annie White, 91, of Sanford, died November 28 at the Maine Medical Center in Portland after a brief illness.She was born in Massachusetts on January 25, 1919, the daughter of Andry and Sophie (Lisowska) Bobchick, moved to Maine as a child and was a graduate of Sanford High School.In her younger days, she was a member of the Sanford First Baptist Church, the Order of Eastern Star and the Rebekahs. An original member of the Sanford Springvale YMCA, she swam there often.Annie was a regular breakfast customer at the Sunnyside Restaurant in Springvale, and an avid bridge player at the Trafton Senior Citizen Center.Her husband, Hayes White, died in 1992.Survivors include a son, Phillip White and his wife Sherry of Lancaster, PA, son Garry White and his wife Donna of Springvale, daughter Carolyn Sweeney of Springvale, son Wayne White of Manhattan, KS, daughter Bette Garey and her husband David of Ocala, FL, 13 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and a great great grandson.A private graveside service will be held in Chickville Cemetery in Ossipee, NH.
