Anne Carrier Roy, 65, went peacefully to be with her Lord on December 6. She died at her home after a long and courageously fought battle with multiple myeloma. She grew up in West Kennebunk and Biddeford and graduated from St. Joseph's High School in Biddeford in 1966 after which she took a two year correspondence course from The Art Institute of America. This publication is in the Library of Congress. Anne also is an inductee into "Who's Who in Maine." Anne's hobbies included cooking, drawing & painting in oils, sewing, quilting, knitting, and crocheting. Anne taught oil painting in adult education for many years which she thoroughly enjoyed. She also loved to cook and was always passing along culinary short-cuts and newly created recipes for her family and friends to share. She gave many of the dresses she sewed and knitted hats, scarves and mittens to the children of her church ministry; something she thoroughly enjoyed doing. Her family was her life. She married Roger P. Roy in Biddeford on June 17, 1972.
