Andrew W. Landry, 22, of Sanford, died January 15 in Lyman.He was born in Sanford on April 23, 1988, the son of Steven P. Beattie and Melissa J. Landry. He attended local schools and was currently a student at York County Community College in Wells.It is hard to mention Andrew without a reference to music. He enjoyed all types of music from classical to rock. He was a talented pianist and guitarist and an aspiring composer. He enjoyed attending the concerts held at the Sanford-Springvale Historical Society museum in Springvale.Family was very important to Andrew. His grandmothers recalled that as an only child with no siblings, he formed strong relationships with his cousins, aunts, uncle and with them.Andrew was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Jim Landry.Survivors include his father of Callaway, FL, his mother of Sanford, his paternal grandmother Claire Beattie of Sanford, maternal grandmother Ruth St. Ours of Sanford, an aunt, Sharon O'Brien of Sanford, aunt and uncle Kristen and Tom Barbour of Wells, a great aunt Theresa Lumbert of Sanford, and several cousins.Andrew's life will be celebrated on Friday from 4-8 PM at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale.Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Sanford-Springvale Historical Society, P.
