Amal Kashmiry

Amal Kashmiry, 58, of Wells, passed away at her home after a long illness on March 14, 2012.Amal was born on December 23, 1953 to Monir and Laurine (Engel) Kashmiry, in Erie Pennsylvania.She had worked in the greater Wells area in several restaurants, including the former Poli's Restaurant on Rt. 1 in Wells for many years.Amal loved to cook and was an avid craft lady who made custom clothing for her kids as well as hand crafted jewelry.Surviving are her daughter, Samantha Streeter of Wells; her son James Streeter and his wife Kelly of Portland, 2 grandchildren; a brother, Tymoor Kasmiry of Sanford; and a sister Karolyn Zois of Kennebunk.At the request of the family services will be private.Arrangements are under the direction of Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home. 580 Main Street, Springvale, Maine 04083.
